What Happens When Faith Speaks?

I have learned that faith does not always change the situation first. Sometimes faith changes me first.

It changes what I say, what I expect, what I allow, and how I walk into what comes next.

Faith Changes the Conversation

Fear has a voice. Doubt has a voice. Insecurity has a voice. But faith has one too. And when faith finally speaks louder than everything that has been trying to keep you small, something inside you begins to shift.

You stop agreeing with every fearful thought. You stop calling the worst possibility wisdom. You stop letting what you see right now decide what you believe YHWH can still do.

Faith Does Not Need Everything to Look Ready

There are times when faith speaks before the evidence changes. The door may not be open yet. The answer may not be in your hand yet. The new place may still feel unfamiliar. But faith says, keep moving.

That does not mean ignoring reality. It means reality does not get the final word over what YHWH has spoken.

What You Say Starts to Change

When faith speaks, your language begins to change. Not because you are pretending everything is perfect, but because you are no longer speaking against the very thing you are asking YHWH to bring you through.

You begin to say, I can do this. I can heal. I can move forward. I can trust what YHWH is doing even while I am still becoming comfortable in the new place.

Faith Can Move Before Fear Leaves

I used to think courage meant I would stop feeling fear. I have learned that faith can move while fear is still trying to talk.

Faith does not always silence every other voice immediately. Sometimes it simply gives you a stronger one to follow.

And once you start following that voice, you realize fear may have been loud, but it was never supposed to lead you.

When Faith Speaks, Move With It

There comes a moment when faith has to become more than something you say you have. It has to become how you move.

Maybe the first step is small. Maybe it is one decision, one boundary, one application, one yes, one no, one prayer, or one choice not to return to what YHWH already brought you out of.

Faith spoke. Now I have to decide which voice gets to guide my next step.

Permission to heal. Strength to turn the page. Faith to keep moving forward.
